Adam says he was once an aspiring architect and has always appreciated the “clean, modern, and slick looks” prevalent in California dwellings. Angel followed his taste and included simple lines and neutral colors- punching them up with splashes of warm reds and oranges.

Adam Roberts’s designer (and sister), Angel Roberts, says the kitchen fixtures and furniture had to be sturdy and functional for Adam and his athletic guests. With frequent traffic of wet, sandy volleyball players, the dining chairs and concrete floors can actually be hosed off.
Designer Angel Roberts used a variety of methods, including can lights, lamps, and windows to banish any possible “basement feeling.”
