Scary, but true: the holidays are looming. Before you throw your head under the covers, take heart—Halloween, arguably the year’s most amusing celebration, is sneaking up behind you. What better way to throw caution to the wind than with a sinfully good Halloween cocktail?

October 31 is a sensory experience—and allows its adult revelers to indulge in spirited foods and beverages reminiscent of childhood, or even the macabre. (Bloody Mary, anyone?)

This year, sweeten the pot with this crafty toddy—but be forewarned: It’s frighteningly delicious.

Juice of ½ lemon
1 large egg white
Candy corn and pineapple for garnish
