Silent Cities

Board Brookgreen’s Trekker to explore cemeteries of former slaves and plantation owners. On this two-hour adventure down back roads, you’ll learn about historical burial customs of both African and European peoples as you tour some of the old plantation land that comprise Brookgreen today. Reservations are suggested for this unique tour that allows visitors into the silent cities of generations past.
