Milestones: Celebrating 70 and Beyond

Milestones are those momentous events that mark our lives, from birth to death and all the important occurrences in between. This exhibit recognizes the very significant milestone some of South Carolina's most prominent artists have all reached—their 70th birthday—and hence their many years of producing noteworthy works of art. Over 25 artists, from the Lowcountry and many points in between, will exhibit works of art that have been created within the last two years. Sculptures, paintings, prints, quilts, batiks, photographs, collages and hand-carved bowls will grace the galleries from January to April. The exhibit showcases a veritable list of “Who's Who in South Carolina,” including: John Acorn, Bobbi Adams, Marlene O’Bryant-Seabrook, Barbara St. Dennis, Leo Twiggs, and Don Zurlo.
